World Government Policies are moving towards the promotion of low waste, low carbon economies and The Green New Deals promoted by both the USA and the UK suggest huge and immediate opportunities in the Energy from Waste and the Renewable Energy Sectors.

In a recession, however, consumption of just about everything decreases. This drives down energy prices and usage which in turn discourages the development of alternative technologies. Technologies such as nuclear power plants, solar collection farms, wind turbine farms, ethanol production, R&D for electric/hydrogen powered cars and the infrastructure to support them, require enormous amounts of capital and promise only a distant financial return.

First Power Limited (FPL) owns the exclusive rights to design, build and operate the Stein Pyrolysis Technology, which is fully patented and licensable. The technology allows for the production of sustainable energy combined with an environmentally friendly solution to the problem of waste management and disposal. The inventor Peter Stein, owns 50% of the shares and works full time for the Company, First Power Limited (FPL).

The technology is a form of Advanced Thermal Treatment. It links to the existing waste and energy infrastructure, does not require enormous amounts of capital and offers our funders a more immediate return on their investment than other technologies.

Advanced Thermal Treatment of waste has been in widespread use for many decades and many billions of pounds have been invested, unfortunately with few tangible commercial successes. There is therefore ample evidence of how not to run a commercially viable process and it is from this evidence that Peter Stein has redesigned the process from first principles to eliminate or deal with all the problems experienced before they occur. The result is a technically simple plant.
